Celtic beats Hearts to stay top in Scotland European Football Headlines
GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) Greece striker Georgios Samaras scored the first-half winner as Celtic beat Hearts 1-0 to maintain its two-point lead in the Scottish Premier League on Sunday. Five days after earning Celtic its first away win in the Champions League with a stoppage-time goal against Spartak Moscow, Samaras drove home a low finish in the 34th minute at Celtic Park as his team claimed a third straight league win. The defending champions' nearest challenger is Hibernian, which beat Dundee 3-0 on Saturday. Aberdeen is a point further back in third after winning 3-1 at Kilmarnock on Saturday.
