Papadopoulos, Holebas out for Greece

ATHENS, Greece (AP) Greece defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos has been ruled out for Friday's World Cup qualifying match at home against group rival Bosnia.

The Schalke player was a standout for Greece at this summer's European Championship, but has a viral infection and will be replaced by Panathinaikos' Lazaros Christodoulopoulos.

The Greek football federation also announced Monday that AS Monaco's Giorgos Tzavelas will replace left back Jose Holebas, who suffered a right thigh strain after scoring the winning goal for Olympiakos at the weekend to earn a 1-0 win over Asteras Tripoli.

Greece and Bosnia both won their first two qualifiers in Group G.
