Juventus are triumphant in Turin and they were well worth their 3-0 victory. Chelsea lacked ideas in attack and they lost the midfield battle to the brilliant trio of Andrea Pirlo, Kwadwo Asamoah and Stephan Lichtsteiner. Roberto Di Matteo's team's fate is not out of their hands going into matchday six; they'll need to win against Nordsjaelland and hope that Juventus lose to Shakhtar if they're to continue their defence of the trophy.

Chelsea press for a goal and are caught on the break by Sebastian Giovinco. Petr Cech comes far out of his box to try and clear but Giovinco pokes the ball home. He runs over to the Juve fans to celebrate and is booked for taking his shirt off.

Shakhtar Donetsk have gone 4-2 up in Denmark. If the scores stay this way then Chelsea will have to beat Nordsjaelland and rely on other results to go their way on matchday six if they are to qualify.
55' CHELSEA START SLOWLY
Chelsea have started the second half slowly and it's Juventus who have had the most of the ball. The Blues' first chance of the half comes when Cesar Azpilicueta crosses from the right-wing but it's blocked.

Fabio Quagliarella plays a wonderful long pass to Mirko Vucinic which he collects on his chest. Vucinic goes down under pressure from Gary Cahill but the referee waves play-on.
49' WASTEFUL EFFORT
Mirko Vucinic lashes a wasteful shot high and wide from a tight angle after a lovely chipped ball from Andrea Pirlo. Claudio Marchisio was waiting for a pass in the box and he probably would have scored if he'd gotten it.

Juventus get us underway and almost immediately score as Kwadwo Asamoah whips in a quick ball across goal. Ashley Cole does well to clear.
45' HALF-TIME
Juventus have the lead at the break thanks to a Fabio Quagliarella goal which came from a slightly mis-hit Andrea Pirlo shot but both teams have had their fair share of chances. Eden Hazard and Juan Mata have both come close for the European Champions while Fabio Quagliarella could have just as easily scored again. The other game in group E between FC Nordsjaelland and Shakhtar Donetsk is currently 2-2, a score that will please Chelsea and Juventus. They'll both come out hungry for a result in the second half to try to guarantee their progression however.

Leonardo Bonucci is the first man in the referee's book tonight for a foul on Oscar.
41' CHANCES FOR BOTH TEAMS
After a clearance off the line by Ashley Cole from another Fabio Quagliarella shot, Juan Mata gets on the end of a Cesar Azpilicueta cross in the Juventus box and almost equalises but his shot is saved by Gianluigi Buffon.

Andrea Pirlo shoots from range and Petr Cech appears to have it covered until Fabio Quagliarella re-directs it into the opposite corner of the goal. The crowd here in Turin have gone wild.

Ramires charges with pace at the Juventus defence and passes to Oscar in the box. His shot is blocked however and Ramires is unhappy, he wanted a return pass.

Juan Mata mounts a quick counter-attack down the middle and gets the ball out to Oscar on the right but his touch is way too heavy and he loses the ball.
33' ONE TOUCH TOO MANY
Juventus come close again after some great passing play but instead of pulling the trigger Mirko Vucinic passes wide to Stephan Lichtsteiner whose attempted return pass is cleared by David Luiz.
30' PIRLO MISTAKE
Andrea Pirlo gives the ball away to Ashley Cole far too easily on the right wing. Cole works it across to Ramires but the Brazilian blazes it over the bar.
26' JUVENTUS FREE-KICK
Andrea Pirlo strikes a fierce free-kick from the edge of the box but it's hit right at Petr Cech and he makes an easy save.
24' ITALIAN DOMINATION
Chelsea have only really had one chance so far in the first 20 minutes. In comparison Juventus seem to be creating one every couple of minutes and their passing and ball retention looks effortless. Mirko Vucinic has looked especially dangerous and he comes close again with a low long-range drive.
20' ONE TOUCH PASSING
The ever-influential Andrea Pirlo starts a passing move in his own half which cuts out the Chelsea midfield. Mirko Vucinic ends up with the ball on the left but his shot is weak and is saved easily.
17' SMART GOALKEEPING
Another Andrea Pirlo is played short at the near post to Mirko Vucinic who touches it back to Claudio Marchisio giving him a free shot at goal. He hits it with pace and it's parried wide smartly by Petr Cech.
14' GOOD CHELSEA DEFENDING
An Andrea Pirlo corner almost finds the head of Mirko Vucinic in the box but Gary Cahill manages to clear it effectively. Chelsea have defended valiantly in the opening 15 minutes.
9' FANTASTIC RUN
Oscar wins the ball on the half-way line and sets off on a jinking run which takes him all the way to the Juve penalty area where he slots a lovely through ball to Eden Hazard. Hazard takes a quick touch and strikes a low shot at goal which the Chelsea fans think has put them in front but it's hit the side netting after a crucial touch from Gianluigi Buffon.
5' JUVENTUS HIT THE POST
Juventus come extremely close in the opening minutes! A chipped cross from Mirko Vucinic is steered goalwards by Stephan Lichtsteiner at the back post but Petr Cech manages to get something on it and tip it onto the post.

Chelsea get the ball moving in a very loud Turin.

Juventus will turn out in a 3-5-2 formation with the experienced Andrea Pirlo at the heart of midfield. Mirko Vucinic will play alongside Fabio Quagliarella up-front after recovering from illness.
