DONETSK, Ukraine (AP) Shakhtar Donetsk owner Rinat Akhmetov says it was "unacceptable" for Luiz Adriano to score an uncontested goal against Champions League opponent Nordsjaelland.

Akhmetov says the Ukrainian club is "deeply disappointed" with the incident last week in Denmark which is subject to a UEFA disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.

UEFA charged Luiz Adriano with "violation of the principles of conduct" for scoring when Nordsjaelland defenders stopped to let the ball reach their goalkeeper after a drop ball.

The Brazilian forward's goal leveled at 1-1, and he eventually scored three in a 5-2 victory sealing Shakhtar's progress to the knockout rounds.

If UEFA suspends Luiz Adriano, a two-match ban would carry over from the group stage to include the first-leg match in the round of 16.

Akhmetov says "we will accept and abide by UEFA's decision."
