Poland beats South Africa 1-0 in friendly Latin American Football HeadlinesWARSAW, Poland (AP) Marcin Komorowski scored in the 82nd minute to give Poland a 1-0 victory over South Africa in a friendly match in the Euro 2012 stadium in Warsaw on Friday. Komorowski fired a precise closer-range shot from a powerful cross by Kamil Grosicki, giving South Africa's goalkeeper Ituneleng Khune no chance. The match was a warmup for next week's 2014 World Cup qualifier against England, but Poland played without many of its top players. Striker Robert Lewandowski was rested while captain Jakub Blaszczykowski and midfielder Jakub Kosecki were injured. Midfielder Eugen Polanski could not play due to a family emergency.
