Pakistan wins toss, bats 1st against New Zealand

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) Pakistan captain Younis Khan won the toss Tuesday and elected to bat at the Zayed Stadium for the first one-day international against New Zealand.

Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik made way for Khalid Latif, while New Zealand decided to rest Kyle Mills and James Franklin.
