Minute Commentary
90' SUMMARY
An entertaining afternoon with Arsenal coming from behind to pick up a hard-earned point - the minimum they deserved from the game. City were sluggish, laboured and lacking in creativity, while the Gunners looked confident in possession and assured at the back. That said, it was still a defensive error - Vito Mannone's flap at a corner - which cost them dearly. However they perservered and Koscielny struck a tidy finish to make it 1-1. City will need to pick up their game if they're to retain their title, while on this evidence Arsenal could be well-placed to challenge them. Full time at Eastlands, Manchester City 1 Arsenal 1.

Oh what a chance for Sergio Aguero. Vincent Kompany shows terrific technique with an overhead kick which Mannone parries, before Aguero fires the rebound wide. He had to bury that.

Six minutes to go and the three points are up for grabs. City look out on their feet and the momentum is certainly with the visitors.

You can't say they don't deserve this. A brilliant shot from Cazorla draws a wonderful save from Hart - from the resulting corner LAURENT KOSCIELNY drills into the corner with a very tidy finish. Grandstand finish coming up.

City launch a brisk counter attack through Toure who has Tevez and Aguero for company. He sprays right to Aguero, but the striker's shot is saved. First shot in a while.

Arsenal are enjoying most of the possession but, as is so often the case, they're using one pass too many at times.

Cazorla, arguably Arsenal's most dangerous player, sends a left-wing cross behind all of his team mates. Perhaps time for a change for the Gunners, who have Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott and Giroud on the bench.

City are on top here as they search for the second goal which would surely secure three points. Garcia nods a corner at Mannone.

City could have a penalty here, but Sergio Aguero stays on his feet from Koscielny's challenge and then hits a deflected shot over the bar. Arsenal have got away with that one.

Not much quality on display at the moment. Apart from some tidy Arsenal passing in the first half, the quality has generally been quite poor.

No noticeable tactical changes for Arsenal in this half. They just need to continue what they were doing before the break, aside from making glaring goalkeeping errors from corners.

We're back playing at Eastlands, where City have replaced Scott Sinclair with Jack Rodwell. He must be injured.

Arsene Wenger will be a frustrated man. He's seen his team enjoy a shedload of possession and outplay City for most of the half, but it's the hosts who lead thanks to Mannone's error. City are on Easy Street and a second goal should do it.

Cazorla sends a harmless right-footed shot past the post from the edge of the area.
41' DZEKO CHANCE
City are buzzing now. Dzeko curls inches over the bar from 20 yards via a Mannone fingertip.
40' MAN CITY 1-0 ARSENAL
Oh dear, Vito Mannone. Arsenal's back-up keeper flaps at a right-wing corner and JOLEON LESCOTT has the simple task of nodding home from six yards. Arsenal's dominance for 40 minutes has come to nothing.
39' BEST SPELL
Best spell of the game from City who are putting some prolonged pressure on the Arsenal box.
37' SIDE NETTING
Gervinho skips inside from the left and drills a low shot into the side netting. Hart had it covered. Some of the Arsenal fans think it's in and the City fans delight in informing them that it was wide.
35' GREAT CROSS
Sinclair switches to the right and sends a great cross into the middle, which doesn't quite reach Aguero. It's been an excellent home debut from the former Swansea winger.
32' FREE KICK
Arsenal continue to run the show at Eastlands, but they haven't seriously tested Joe Hart yet. An Arteta free kick causes no problems for the keeper.
29' GOOD CHALLENGE
Good challenge from former Gunner Clichy who prevents Gervinho from getting a shot away from Cazorla's through ball.
26' CORNER
Clichy earns City's first corner of the game but a poor delivery from Sinclair comes to nothing. It's pretty quiet at Eastlands - the home side have given them nothing to cheer.
24' PODOLSKI CHANCE
Superb play by Jenkinson who gets the better of Lescott down the right before cutting back to Podolski, who blazes over from 15 yards. It was on his weaker right foot and the German was way off target.
23' LULL
The game is in a bit of a lull at the moment. Sinclair is City's best outlet but in general Arsenal have the hosts well shackled.
20' BETTER SIDE
Twenty minutes in and Arsenal continue to look the more dangerous side. Gibbs and Jenkinson are pushing forward and City are struggling to gain any momentum.
16' AWFUL TOUCH
What an opportunity spurned by Gervinho. Ramsey plays him in with a delightful through ball but Gervinho's touch is atrocious, knocking the ball at least 10 yards ahead of him. Hart duly collects.
14' AGUERO SHOT
Sergio Aguero needs no invitation to shoot but Arsenal give him one, allowing the striker to cut inside from the left before firing low at Mannone from 20 yards. Good effort.
13' ACROSS GOAL
Gibbs ventures forward again and is given the ball by Arteta in the box. He could go for goal from a tight angle from the left but choose to play across goal and it's way ahead of Podolski. A little more composure was required there.
11' PATROLLING
Messrs Mancini and Wenger, both suit-clad, are patrolling the touchline. Mancini will be concerned at his team's start - they've yet to get going.

Santi Cazorla has the game's first shot, a low 20-yarder which rolls through to Hart.
8' EAGER
Scott Sinclair will be eager to impress on his Eastlands debut. Him against Jenkinson should be a good battle down City's left.
7' CUT OUT
Podolski sprays wide to the overlapping Gibbs, who is in a good position on the left, but his low cross is cut out. Arsenal look very assured.
5' TOO FIRM
Dzeko, a surprise starter today ahead of Tevez and Balotelli, tries to race onto a through ball but it's hit too firmly and Mannone collects.

Confident start from Arsenal who have enjoyed most of the early possession. They're being well backed by a sizeable travelling support.
