90'	READING 2, EVERTON 1. Talk about a game of two halves! Everton completely dominated for 45 minutes, in which they could only muster up a one-goal lead. Reading came back after the break with great energy and Adam Le Fondre equalised five minutes in, heading home from Nicky Shorey's free kick. The very same man earned and converted a penalty 12 minutes from time to give Reading a well-deserved win.
90'	GAME OVER Reading survive a late attack to record their first win of the season! Marouane Fellaini tries to pull the trigger but once again Sean Morrison is there to make the block. The final whistle sounds - Reading 2, Everton 1.

71'	GOOD ENERGY FROM READING Both sides are defending well but Reading seem the more ambitious at the moment, as they shower the Everton penalty area with crosses. John Heitinga and Phil Jagielka are dealing with it well but the Blues are showing very little attacking intent at the moment.

62'	GREAT SAVE Jason Roberts lays it into the path of Adam Le Fondre, who you'd back to score from this position but Tim Howard manages to deny the Reading striker. Leon Osman shoots for the visitors but that's not troubling the keeper.
60'	MORRISON SUPERB Steven Pienaar searches for Thomas Hitzlsperger, whose cross is blocked by the tireless Sean Morrison. Brilliant defending once again. Hitzlsperger's shot is blocked minutes later and he's now showing his frustration.
57'	CORNER KICK Everton manage to get out of their own half and win a corner, which is taken by Thomas Hitzlsperger and headed over by Phil Jagielka. Adam Le Fondre heads wide at the other end.
54'	ROYALS AREN'T DONE YET Reading aren't content with that equaliser, which has only motivated them more. They continue to come forward and Hal Robson-Kanu has won a free kick in a dangerous position. Mikele Leigertwood's ball in isn't good enough though.
52'	MORE ON THAT GOAL 45 minutes of domination for Everton is cancelled out by a five-minute spell from Reading. Nicky Shorey delivers a mouth-watering ball from a free kick and ADAM LE FONDRE takes full advantage, heading home from six yards out. Reading 1, Everton 1.

50'	ALL ABOUT FELLAINI Marouane Fellaini continues to dictate the play at his own pace, slowing the game down and quelling Reading's bright spell.
47'	GOOD START Reading seem to have a new-found energy early on in this second period. Nicky Shorey's corner is hacked away and Reading enjoy some possession in and around the Everton penalty area. They fail to get a shot away, however.
46'	SECOND HALF UNDERWAY Everton kick off and Reading win it back, earning an early corner.
45'	FIRST HALF SUMMARY Well it's been a completely one-sided 45 minutes and considering Reading's (lack of) defence, David Moyes will be frustrated that Everton aren't home and dry. Nikica Jelavic squandered a golden opportunity inside the first five minutes and then the Toffees took the lead through Steven Naismith, who capitalised on a number of defensive mishaps to tap home after 11 minutes. From then, Adam Federici has kept his side in the game as Everton have had chance after chance. There is however, only one goal in it, and anything can happen in the second half.
45'	HALF TIME The referee calls time on the first half. It's Reading 0, Everton 1.
45'	GREAT CHANCE Reading win a rare corner and Mikele Leigertwood has a great chance to power the header home. Instead he nods it wide. David Moyes would have been furious if that went in as his team have completely dominated for 45 minutes.
42'	MORRISON DENIES JELAVIC Leighton Baines puts it in the area from the left, Adam Federici deflects the ball away from Fellaini, but into the path of Nikica Jelavic, who looks certain to score. Sean Morrison throws himself in front of the ball to deny Everton a second goal. The Toffees rightly appeal for handball but luckily for the home side, the referee doesn't spot it.
38'	GREAT SAVE Leon Osman finds himself in acres of space, thanks to some more awful defending from Reading. He strikes it with his right foot, forcing Adam Federici to make a super save. The resulting corner is headed over by Phil Jagielka. At the other end, Jason Roberts finds some space 25 yards out but his miskicked effort sums up the Royals' performance.
35'	GREAT PLAY Hal Robson-Kanu is orchastrating much of the play in the centre of the field. This time he releases Nicky Shorey on the left. His cross is good but Everton eventually get the ball away. A long shot from Thomas Hitzlsperger is palmed away by Adam Federici.
32'	YELLOW CARD Kaspars Gorkss fells Seamus Coleman and receives a yellow card for his troubles. Perhaps Seamus Coleman's extra few rolls across the pitch aided that decision. The Irishman leaves the pitch for treatment but he looks fine to continue.
28'	JELAVIC SHOT Marouane Fellaini shrugs off two Reading players in the centre of the park to set up a chance for Everton. Steven Naismith gets it and searches out Nikica Jelavic, but his shot is tame and easy for Adam Federici to deal with.
27'	POSITIVE Hal Robson-Kanu shows some incisiveness by making a rapid run down the flank and winning a corner. Jay Tabb's delivery isn't good enough and it goes behind for an Everton goal kick. Seamus Coleman has also been booked.
24'	YELLOW CARD Jason Roberts is cautioned for an over-eager challenge on Leighton Baines, which halts a decent-looking Everton attack. A card may have been a little harsh; Martin Atkinson, today's ref, has given the most cards in the Premier League this season though.
22'	MORE POOR DEFENDING Kaspars Gorkss dwells on the ball for too long again and Steven Pienaar nabs it on the edge of the area. Nikica Jelavic is screaming for it, unmarked inside the area, but Pienaar tries to go alone and his skewed effort doesn't trouble the keeper.
19'	GOOD ATTACK Nicky Shorey makes a great run and plays the overlap with Jobi McAnuff, whose cross it dealt with by the Everton defence. Nevertheless, they are making the defence work, and that's what they need to do.
16'	SERIOUS WORDS AT HALF TIME Brian McDermott has got some work to do at the break, and that's if his side are still in the game after 45 minutes. Their defending has been awful, not just from the goal, but earlier on too. Had Nikica Jelavic buried that early header we could be headed for a slaughtering.
13'	GREAT CHANCE TO EQUALISE Reading have a superb chance to equalise straight away as Adam Le Fondre is through on goal, he rounds Tim Howard but tries to chip it in and the ball sails over the bar. He should have just blasted it in! At the other end Thomas Hitzlsperger lobs it through to Steven Pienaar, who crosses to Nikica Jelavic but his shot from six yards out goes wide.
11'	MORE ON THAT GOAL It's possibly the worst goal Reading will concede this season as Kaspars Gorkss makes a woeful effort to clear the ball. Nikica Jelavic takes it off him and lays it into Marouane Fellaini. The ball eventually bobbles to STEVEN NAISMITH, who Nicky Shorey fails to pick up, and he taps it in for Everton.

9'	CLOSE AFFAIR Neither side have really seized control of the game early on and chances are being limited to set pieces and long-range shots. Leon Osman, fresh from receiving his first England cap in midweek, tries a long-range effort from miles out but Adam Federici saves easily.
5'	READING CORNER After surviving an early scare, the home side get a corner of their own. Mikele Leigertwood delivers it but Adam Le Fondre can only make slight contact and nods it wide of the right-hand post.
3'	FIRST CORNER First real chance for Everton as the first corner of the game drops to Phil Jagielka, whose shot is blocked at point-blank range by Adam Federici. The danger isn't over as a second ball comes in from the left; Nikica Jelavic is completely unmarked at the back post but the home side are reprieved as the Everton frontman makes a complete hash of it.

Nikica Jelavic heads the Everton attack, with Apostolos Vellios ready for deployment should David Moyes feel the need for extra firepower.

0'	EVERTON CAN'T STOP SCORING! Everton's non-stop goals have been the secret to their success this season. Not only are they pulling the trigger the most (213 shots), they are also hitting the target most frequently too (82 shots on target). It took the Blues until mid-January to reach 21 goals last season but they have already reached that total after just 11 games. Much of that success has to be attributed to Marouane Fellaini, who has found the net six times already; no Toffee reached that total until April last season.
0'	PREVIOUS MEETINGS This will be just the ninth encounter between these two sides; Everton have won five of the last eight, Reading have taken the points twice, while one match ended all square. The last meeting between these sides came in the fifth round of the 2011 FA Cup, when the Royals shocked Everton 1-0 with a Matthew Mills goal after 26 minutes. The last time these sides met in the league was in 2007-08 with the home team winning 1-0 both times. Phil Jagielka scored Everton's winner at Goodison while Stephen Hunt found the net at the Madejski for Reading's victory.
0'	MATCH PREVIEW Today's game sees relegation-battlers Reading take on high-flying Everton at the Madejski Stadium. Brian McDermott's side have played some nice football and tested the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle and Fulham, but nevertheless are still winless this season in the top flight. With only 10 games played, and six points on the tally, they are already beginning to feel the pressure and need a win to prevent the likes of Aston Villa and Sunderland widening the gap to safety. Everton, on the other hand, have enjoyed the best start to a season since 2004 – they are settled in fourth, eight points above rivals Liverpool.
