90'	ADAM STRIKE SEALS EASY OUTING Charlie Adam's 26th-minute strike was enough to see off powder-puff Fulham, with Stoke running out 1-0 winners at the Britannia Stadium. The Potters never had to play particularly well but were comfortably the superior side throughout the game, with the standard barrage of crosses and long balls to the excellent Peter Crouch sufficient to conjure up a succession of chances. One such cross was knocked down by Crouch for Adam to smash home from close range, while Glenn Whelan and Jonathan Walters went close in similar circumstances. Ryan Shawcross hit the bar with a header and substitute Kenwyne Jones saw a late goal ruled out for offside, while the best that Fulham could muster was a tame Dimitar Berbatov shot in the second half. A very bad day at the office for Martin Jol and his men, while Stoke didn't even have to expend much energy.

90'	LAST CHANCE? Cameron concedes a free kick with a handball just a yard outside of his penalty area. Dejagah takes it, passing the ball to the edge of the box where Whelan steps in to get it away. That must be it now.
90'	GOAL DISALLOWED Again Berbatov looks a step ahead of his teammates as he produces a gorgeous airborne flick to drop the ball on the Stoke penalty spot with no-one on hand to poke it home. Seconds later the Potters race up the other end where Kenwyne Jones sticks the ball in the net, only to be pulled back by a late flag for offside.
88'	LACK OF SUPPORT Berbatov finally contrives to work some space down the right and arrows in an inviting low cross, but nobody's there to convert it.
85'	FULHAM LOOKING BLUNT Time is slipping away from Fulham and still they don't look like fashioning an opening. It's been a poor display from them.

75'	VISITORS THREATEN Suddenly Fulham appear capable of troubling Begovic; this time it's Mladen Petric who takes aim from 18 yards but can only direct his drive straight at the waiting keeper.
74'	FULHAM'S BEST The visitors conjure up their best move of the game as Dimitar Berbatov plays the ball into Dejagah's feet and receives a return backheel to force a fine low save from Asmir Begovic. Stoke then go straight up the other end to feed Walters, who can only shoot wide of the right-hand post.
73'	SUBSTITUTION Damien Duff replaces Karagounis for Fulham. The Greek receives a chorus of boos from the home support as he leaves the field, presumably for his clashes with Adam.
72'	SUBSTITUTION Tony Pulis sends Michael Kightly on for Etherington.
70'	LECTURE FOR CHARLIE Charlie Adam gets a stern telling-off from the ref for the latest in a string of fouls on the exasperated Karagounis. No yellow card is shown this time.
67'	GREAT SAVE As Robert Huth gets his bonce to an Etherington corner, Schwarzer leaps with cat-like agility to tip the effort over the bar. From the second corner Shawcross gets up to head over the top.
65'	HAVE A SHOT NEXT TIME Steven N'Zonzi fails even to hit the corner flag with a hilariously woeful half-volley from Hughes' timid clearance.
63'	CROSSED WIRES That sums Fulham up. Giorgos Karagounis carries the ball forward and tries to play in a teammate, but Sidwell and Berbatov make exactly the same run and end up pushing each other out of the way.
60'	REPEAT PERFORMANCE How many times will we see this combination? Crouch knocks Chris Baird's poor clearance down to Adam, who hits one from the edge of the box. Baird redeems himself by blocking the shot, sending it spinning out for a corner.
57'	YELLOW CARD Geoff Cameron clatters into Ashkan Dejagah, leaving the Iranian writhing in pain. A yellow card is his just reward.
54'	MORE DODGY KEEPING Mark Schwarzer charges from his line to collect a long ball from Shawcross but then manges to drop the ball. Fortunately for the embarassed keeper, he falls on it before Jonathan Walters can pounce.
51'	NO PENALTY Crouch controls a Whelan cross on his chest and passes it to Charlie Adam, who goes down theatrically under Sidwell's fair challenge inside the area. As if realising his folly, Adam jumps straight back to his feet. Michael Oliver ignores the entire debacle.
48'	INTO ROW Z Karagounis collects a short pass from Sidwell and moves inside. The Greek senses a gap 25 yards out but gets right under the ball to smack his shot into row Z.
46'	DODGY KEEPING Mark Schwarzer makes a meal of Shotton's cross, the Australian's flimsy punch falling at the feet of Glenn Whelan, who slices a shot horribly over the bar.
46'	SECOND HALF The teams are back out and the second half is underway, with neither manager having made any half time changes.
45'	ADAM EDGES IT Charlie Adam's goal has been the difference between the sides as Stoke go into the break a goal to the good against Fulham. The Potters have been the better of the two teams in a game lacking in finesse, with Peter Crouch knocking down cross after cross and Ryan Shawcross rattling the bar with a header. It was one of these Crouch knock-downs that led to the goal, the England striker putting Ryan Shotton's deep cross on a plate for Adam to smash home from close range. Fulham left it until the closing five minutes to threaten and even then couldn't conjure up a final ball. Martin Jol has some work to do if he wants to leave the Britannia Stadium with anything to show for his side's efforts.
45'	HALF TIME STOKE 1 FULHAM 0 It's finally half time here at the Britannia Stadium.
45'	DIFFICULT JOB Tony Pulis gives the fourth official an ear-bashing as a dubious throw-in is awarded to Fulham. He's only doing his job, Tony.
44'	FULHAM LATE TO THE PARTY The Cottagers have launched a late flurry of attacking play, but it looks like being too little too late to make a difference in this half as they fail to make the breakthrough.
41'	NO EYE-WITNESS Senderos is back on, sporting a nasty gash above his left eye. It looks like the work of an elbow, although the identity of the perpetrator is at present unclear.
39'	UNSPORTING BEHAVIOUR Play is stopped again as Senderos goes down with a clear problem, and once again the fans boo loudly. Would it be the same if one of their players was injured?
36'	OFF THE BAR A corner from Etherington flies towards the far post, where Ryan Shawcross bursts across his man and thumps a header against the quivering crossbar.
35'	WIDE FROM WHELAN Whelan collects yet another Crouch knock-down inside the box and has a pop, the Irish midfielder's half-volley whistling wide of the left-hand post.
32'	BOO BOYS Ryan Shawcross draws an almighty boo as he knocks the ball out so the grounded Steve Sidwell can receive treatment. That's far from the sporting atmosphere you'd hope to see at a Premier League ground.
29'	THROUGH BALL Adam tries to get Etherington in behind the away defence with a slide-rule pass, but the winger can't quite keep the ball from going out for a goal kick.
26'	GOAL!!! STOKE Fulham have looked vulnerable to crosses all day and they're duly punished. Ryan Shotton's right-sided cross to the back post is knocked down by Peter Crouch, and CHARLIE ADAM controls the ball inside the six-yard box to turn and smash it into the net.
23'	ADAM HITS ONE Charlie Adam glances up and shoots with venom from 25 yards, the drive ending up a yard over Schwarzer's crossbar.
22'	BRAVE BLOCK Peter Crouch knocks down a cross for Matthew Etherington, who sees his goalbound effort blocked by the brave Aaron Hughes.
19'	YELLOW CARD Phillipe Senderos picks up the first booking of the game for blocking off Etherington as the winger tries to beat him for pace.
18'	TERRIBLE CROSS Ryan Shawcross makes his way forward and finds some space, but the cross is that of a defender and sails comfortably through to the goalkeeper. Stoke are at least threatening with some consistency now.
15'	HUTH GOES CLOSE Robert Huth rises above the pack to power a header just wide from Etherington's corner with Mark Schwarzer looking completely beaten. That was easily the best chance of the game so far.
14'	THAT'S NOT HELPING A floated Glenn Whelan free kick is headed towards goal by Jonathan Walters. Ryan Shotton leaps to help it on but can only divert the ball down into the ground and Mladen Petric is on hand to clear the danger.
11'	TOP TACKLE John Arne Riise dispossesses Ryan Shotton with a superbly-timed tackle over by the left touchline. The Norwegian appears hurt by the force of his own challenge but gets up after a few seconds and carries on.
8'	FULHAM ON TOP Fulham may be the away side, but they've made most of the running here so far. Stoke need to hold onto the ball.
5'	LUCKY ESCAPE Matthew Etherington's backpass causes chaos in the Stoke defence as Asmir Begovic and Robert Huth both go to clear the same ball. It ends up squirming in between the hapless pair, but Huth is able to recover in time to stop it crossing the line.
2'	EARLY EFFORT Giorgos Karagounis lets fly with a shot across the Stoke bows from quite some distance, the effort sailing predictably wide.
1'	KICK OFF The referee blows the whistle and we're underway here at the Britannia Stadium.
0'	LINE-UPS ANNOUNCED Andy Wilkinson hasn't made it in time to start for Stoke, so Ryan Shotton takes his place at right back. Mladen Petric starts up front for Fulham following last week's impressive cameo from the bench, while Ashkan Dejagah is also included. Phillipe Senderos comes in for the suspended Brede Hangeland.

0'	ONE TO WATCH Charlie Adam has improved over the last few weeks following an underwhelming start to his Stoke career in the early weeks of the season. The Scotland midfielder has the passing range to supply the likes of Peter Crouch, who can terrorise the Fulham defence today with the aerially Brede Hangeland suspended , and that could prove decisive.
0'	ONE HULL OF A LOAN Fulham's England reserve goalkeeper David Stockdale has joined Hull City on loan until January 1st. The Tigers already have Manchester United's Ben Amos on loan at the club, meaning it won't be an easy ride for 27-year-old Stockdale, who has seen his frst-team opportunities restricted by the continued good form of the evergreen Mark Schwarzer.
0'	MAMA LOAN Stoke supporters won't be happy bunnies right now; fan favourite Mamady Sidibe has been allowed to join Sheffield Wednesday on loan for one month. They might have some sympathy though, as ‘Big Mama' hasn't played competitively since August 2010 due to a procession of serious injuries. He might just return stronger and in better shape to win back his place.
0'	REF WATCH Michael Oliver is the man to take charge of this afternoon's proceedings, the forgiving referee having shown only 13 yellow cards in his seven Barclays Premier League matches this season. Mr Oliver will need to balance things out today; on one side are rough and ready Stoke, while on the other are Fulham, who regularly top the fair play leagues.
0'	STOKE V FULHAM Stoke City play host to Fulham in the Barclays Premier League this afternoon, with the two sides three points and five places apart in the table. The Potters were fortunate to escape from Upton Park with a 1-1 draw on Monday night and will be hoping their ever-formidable home record can see them to victory today. Fulham's recent run of good form hit a snag when they surprisingly lost 3-1 to Sunderland at Craven Cottage last weekend, although the sending off of captain Brede Hangeland certainly didn't help matters. The London side have aspirations of European qualification this season and expect better. This should be a tightly contested and enthralling match.
