LONDON (AP) Queens Park Rangers' new signings failed to kickstart the team's bid for Premier League survival as Norwich held the bottom team to a fourth straight draw on Saturday.

Adel Taarabt had a penalty saved in the second half by Norwich goalkeeper Mark Bunn, who continuously thwarted QPR in the 0-0 draw at Loftus Road.

"They gave everything. We just need to turn draws into wins and you don't get a better opportunity than we had today," QPR manager Harry Redknapp said. "We're unbeaten since the turn of the year so we've just got to keep going."

QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar also pulled off a string of fine saves, notably at point-blank range from Wes Hoolahan, while Christopher Samba, who was bought for 12.5 million pounds ($20 million) on Thursday, was solid in the home defense.

The point lifted Norwich eight points above the relegation zone.

QPR is three points behind Aston Villa and Wigan at the bottom, and is facing a spell without striker Loic Remy after the January recruit sustained a groin injury in training on Friday.

"We will have to see how he is tomorrow and Monday, then take it from there," Redknapp said.

But there were impressive QPR debuts on Saturday for winger Andros Townsend, midfielder Jermaine Jenas and Samba.

"Chris Samba was fantastic today," Redknapp said of the recruit from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala. "He's not played since November. We asked him how he was and he said he was about 40 percent fit. If that's 40 percent, I don't know what he'll be like when he's 100 percent. He was outstanding."
