Zamora injury deals another blow to struggling QPR EPL Headlines
LONDON (AP) Struggling Queens Park Rangers will be without striker Bobby Zamora for about three months because of a hip injury, dealing another blow to the Premier League's last-place team and its under-pressure manager Mark Hughes. QPR says Zamora will undergo an "exploratory operation" after hurting his hip in a recent training session. Zamora joins off-season signing Andrew Johnson on the long-term injury list, leaving Hughes short of strikers as the team attempts to avoid relegation. Djibril Cisse is the only other out-and-out striker in the squad. Hughes' job is widely believed to be under threat, with QPR winless in its opening 12 league matches with only four points.
