Toronto FC sends Plata  (AP Photo/Alberto Puente) TORONTO (AP) Toronto FC has traded winger Joao Plata to Real Salt Lake for a second-round draft pick. Toronto sent the 20-year-old Plata out to loan in his native Ecuador last season. The 5-foot-2, 135-pound Plata scored 10 goals and added nine assists in 52 appearances in all competitions for Toronto. Toronto announced the deal Wednesday. Updated January 30, 2013
