Red Bulls to play Lyon in exhibition

HARRISON, N.J. (AP) Seven-time French champion Lyon will play the New York Red Bulls in an exhibition on July 16 at Red Bull Arena.

The MLS team announced the game Friday. Two current Red Bulls have played for the French team - Juninho and Peguy Luyindula.

Lyon finished third in Ligue 1, earning a berth in the third qualifying round of next season's Champions League. The French club won a record seven straight league titles from 2001-08. (MORE)
