Pearce to lose Under-21 role

LONDON (AP) Stuart Pearce is out as coach of England's Under-21 team.

The Football Association says it will "not be renewing his contract," which expires at the end of the month.

Tuesday's announcement came after England lost all three of its group matches at the European Under-21 Championships in Israel this month.
