No. 21 Purdue women defeat SC-Upstate 82-47 WCBK Headlines
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) KK Houser scored 17 points, leading four Purdue players in double figures, and the 21st-ranked Boilermakers beat South Carolina-Upstate 82-47 Saturday night. Drey Mingo added 15 points and Courtney Moses and Taylor Manuel contributed 12 points apiece for Purdue in its season opener. The Boilermakers led 38-25 at halftime in the first meeting between the schools. Tee'Ara Copney was the only Spartans player in double figures, with 16 points. Purdue outrebounded SC-Upstate 41-26.
