No. 19 UCLA women defeat Princeton 65-52 WCBK Headlines
LOS ANGELES (AP) Nirra Fields scored 26 points and Markel Walker added 23 points, and No. 19 UCLA overcame an 11-point first-half deficit to beat Princeton 65-52 on Sunday. Walker also had nine rebounds, six steals and six assists for the Bruins (3-1), who rebounded from a 76-64 home loss to No. 5 Notre Dame on Friday. Niveen Rasheed led Princeton with 17 points. The Tigers (3-2) held a double-digit lead midway through the first half, but the Bruins only trailed 32-31 at the break. UCLA held Princeton to 27 percent shooting in the second half and 34 percent for the game. The final margin was the Bruins' largest on Sunday. Updated November 25, 2012
