No. 6 Kentucky routs Bellarmine 113-33

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) Samarie Walker scored 19 points, Bria Goss added 16 and No. 6 Kentucky forced 46 turnovers in running away from Bellarmine 113-33 on Monday night.

Sophomore Bernisha Pinkett added 15 points, A'dia Mathies had 13 points with five steals and DeNesha Stallworth 11 points for Kentucky. The Wildcats pressed often and forced 28 steals, converting those turnovers into 67 points.

Kentucky led by as many as 80 points in its only exhibition game. The closest Bellarmine got was 11-8 before the Wildcats scored 51 of the next 61 points.

Sophomore Azia Bishop had 13 points and led Kentucky with seven rebounds.

Lauren Jones had nine points to lead Bellarmine.

Kentucky opens the regular season on Saturday afternoon against Delaware State.
