EMU dismisses Tate from women's basketball team WCBK Headlines
YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) Guard Miranda Tate has been dismissed from Eastern Michigan's basketball team for an unspecified violation of team policy. The 5-foot-11 senior was the team's leading scorer at 12.9 points per game. The school announced her dismissal in a news release Wednesday and said it would have no further comment. Eastern Michigan (2-10) hosts Loyola of Chicago on Saturday. Updated January 2, 2013
