Holdsclaw appeared in Fulton County court Friday, hours after surrendering to face charges stemming from a confrontation that ended in gunfire earlier this week. Atlanta police say Holdsclaw fired a shot after using a bat to break the windows of a car belonging to Jennifer Lacy, a player for the WNBA's Tulsa Shock. No one was injured. Holdsclaw and Lacy were Atlanta Dream teammates in 2009. Holdsclaw was ordered to wear a monitoring device and have no contact with Lacy. She faces counts including aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. She was ordered back to court Nov. 30. A message to her attorney was not immediately returned. Updated November 16, 2012 |
