BioPraised for his clever movement, quick feet and finishing, Brazilian-born forward Cacau provides Germany the flair critics often say they lack. After moving to Germany at an early age, Cacau began his professional career at Turk Gucu Munchen, before moving to FC Nuremberg in 2001. After an impressive first season at the club, his form slumped along with the rest of the team and they were relegated. Keen to stay in the Bundesliga, Cacau agreed a switch to current club Stuttgart in 2003. Since signing he has appeared well over 150 times, scoring over 50 goals in the process. Cacau acquired his German citizenship in February 2009 and made his debut for the national team in May at the age of 29. Since then he has had a number of impressive performances of the bench but tough competition from the likes of Klose and Podolski restrict him from a place in the starting 11. Player Stats
